Volunteer Opportunities
VCE - VM Mock Interviews - Parent Contributor Expression of Interest
When: Monday 25th of August 12.30pm to 2pm at Moonee Valley Racecourse
We're looking for six parents who work in HR, People and Culture, or who run their own business to help with Mock Interviews for our VCE VM students. It doesn’t matter whether you're from Canowindra or Yirramboi – what’s most important is that you’re working in the right fields.
Parents will be asked to complete one of two roles:
Year 11 Individual Interviews – A teacher and a parent will interview a student for a fake job advertisement. They will be provided interview questions to ask students and will be asked to complete an evaluation form about how the student went.
Year 12 Portfolio Presentations – Students will be presenting a workplace portfolio to a teacher and a parent. The parents will need to review how they have presented themselves and fill out an evaluation form for each student.
