Book an Adventure! 

Term three is one of the biggest in the school library calendar- that's right, CBCA Book Week is there! This year Book Week falls from the 16th-23rd of August and as always, Overnewton will be celebrating in style. We have guest speakers booked, parades organised, costumes zhooshed and all the shortlisted books appraised. This year’s theme is “Book an Adventure” and we think it’s a fitting reminder to take your books on an adventure these school holidays.  

The long mid-year break is the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind after a hectic term, and as we know, reading is a great way to do this. These holidays we want you to take your books on an adventure and take a photo of you reading them in fun locations. Send your photo through here for the chance to win a small prize.
