CCC Basketball

A great time was had by our 9/10 boys team at CCC basketball in Bankstown. The team headed home on a high Tuesday 31st October having won their last game against Central Coast 34 - 30. The boys team played together well and after each defeat took it in stride. Thank you to John Harris who coached the team and kept spirits high even during challenging games, also to Oliver Martin for coming along as our water boy and general assistant. Your efforts alongside your awesome behaviour were greatly appreciated by Mrs Smith and Mr McCann. Thank you for representing O'Connor with pride.

Hockey

 Ava Vaughan was awarded the 2022/2023 Coach’s Award for the NIAS Hockey Program.

Congratulations to our Year 7 girls Elsie Piddington and Tilly Patterson who participated in the State U13 Indoor Hockey tournament last weekend in Bathurst. 

Tilly was successful in gaining selection in the NSW U13 State team. She will participate in the Australian Championships in Canberra in January. We look forward to hearing how she got on.

It is great to see our hockey success continuing.
