Year 7 Visual Art

Year 7 Visual Art students have been working with mono-printing and mixed media processes to create A6 (postcard) sized artworks for submission into the Zart Student Art Prize 2023. All artworks will be displayed in Melbourne. 

The competition has been a great way for us to support students to meet the Victorian Curriculum Visual Arts Achievement Standard by experimenting with materials, techniques, and processes in a range of art forms to express ideas, concepts and themes in artworks that have been planned and created for display. 

Design It Make It students have also taken up a competition opportunity to submit a design for new training tops for the Rochester Football Club as offered by the CCLLEN. Winning is not the focus here - the chance for our young designers to work within set parameters, for an external client and within a set deadline is as close to real world designing as possible making it an excellent learning experience.
