CELEBRATING STUDENT SUCCESS IN SCIENCE

What another extraordinary year it has been in Science! 

As mentioned in previous newsletters, there have been many successes both within and outside of the classroom, including amazing achievements in the Science Talent Search, Big Science Competition, the Junior and Senior Science Olympiads and much more. 

Students continue to show their deep love for Science within the classroom as well by undertaking a myriad of experimental inquiries throughout the year with joy and enthusiasm, with many choosing to continue their Science studies in VCE. 

I would like to thank all staff for their incredible commitment to their students and the McKinnon community. Next year, Ms Kat Johnstone will be taking the reins as the Head of Science and I’m so excited for the future of Science at McKinnon. I know we’ll be in great hands!
