Zone & Regional Cross Country Championships:

Well done to all students who competed in the Zone Cross Country Championships on Friday 30th May! Special congratulations to sisters Lucinda and Matilda Lee who finished 2nd and 6th respectively in their age groups. These results qualified the girls for the Sydney South West Regional Cross Country Championships.

The Sydney South West Regional Cross Country Championships were held on Tuesday 10th June at Sydney International Equestrian Centre. Both Lucinda and Matilda put in great performances. Lucinda placed 12th in the 10 Years Girls event (running most of the way with only one shoe!) and Matilda placed 41st in the 12/13 Years Girls event.

Well done girls on your fantastic achievements this cross country season!

Campbelltown PSSA Boys Soccer Team:

We are proud to recognise two of our talented students, Ryder Pearson and Brayden Nelson, who represented Woodland Road Public School and the Campbelltown Zone at the Sydney South West Soccer Championships on Monday 30th June at Lynwood Park.

Both boys demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the competition with their dedication, discipline and passion for the sport evident in every match. 

The Campbelltown team came away with 1 win, 1 draw and 2 loses.

Congratulations to Ryder and Brayden on this wonderful achievement. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and success in this sport! 

A big thank you also to Mr Berger, Mr Harris and the 5/6BG students who travelled to Lynwood Park to cheer on the boys.

Gala Day:

Well done to all students who participated in the Gala Day competitions held in Week 8. Your teamwork, effort and willingness to learn new skills is great to see!

Term 3 Gala Days will be held on Friday 15th August (Week 4) and Friday 12th September (Week 8) at the same venues. A note regarding these Gala Days will be sent home after the school holidays.

School Athletics Carnival - Save the Date:

Our school Athletics Carnival will be held on Wednesday 30th July (Term 3, Week 2). A note regarding this carnival was sent home this week, so please check your child’s bag. Family and friends are most welcome to attend.
