Learning at Meadowbank

Premier's Sporting Challenge
Meadowbank Public School has registered in the NSW Premier's Sporting Challenge.
The purpose of this challenge is to encourage students and teachers to participate in physical activity to lead a healthy lifestyle. The aim is to work towards the recommended 60 minutes of activity a day.
Over a ten-week period, students and teachers will be monitoring their physical activity at school and during outside school hours. We would like to invite families to support us in encouraging students' healthy use of leisure time and to experience the joy of being active together.
Students will be given a logbook to record their daily physical activity. Please encourage your child to record their activity in the logbook and bring it to school each week to add to their class poster. After 10 weeks, students will receive a personalised Diamond, Gold, Silvver or Bronze certificate, depending on their level of activity.
Be more active, more often by:
- Walking to and from school
- Playing at the park
- Riding your bike or schooter
- Playing ball games like soccer or basketball
- Gardening and cleaning
- Playing team sports
- Taking swimming lessons
Award Level | Daily Activity Time |
