Meadowbank Public School Open Day for Public Education Week

Come and celebrate the achievements of our students, teachers and community as we focus on the theme, Ignite Your Potential. 

• 9-9:30 am, K-2 parents can visit their child's classroom
• 9:35-10 am, there will be a showcase in the hall (live performances by the orchestra, dance groups and choir)
• 10:05-10:30 am, 3-6 parents can visit their child's classroom

2025 Parent-Teacher Interviews

Parent-Teacher Interviews for Kindergarten to Year 6 will be held from Monday 28 July to Thursday 7 August before and after school. Each interview timeslot will be 15 minutes in length. All interviews will take place in person in your child's classroom. 

Bookings have now closed. Please double check the date and time of your interview on your Sentral Parent app to ensure you do not miss the opportunity to speak with your child's teacher.

100 Days of Kindergarten

We will be celebrating Kindergarten's 100 days on Tuesday 29 July. On this special day, we invite Kindergarten students to dress up as if they were 100 years old. Additionally, to celebrate this milestone achievement, we invite your child to get creative with a fun project at home. A message in regard to the project has been sent to our Kindergarten families on Sentral.

Kindergarten 2026 Enrolment and Transition Information 

If you have a child starting Kindergarten in 2026, now is the time to enrol! Please complete the online enrolment form as soon as possible. 

Orientation and Transition Sessions – Term 4 

Families will meet in the school hall at 9:15 am. Students will then visit Kindergarten classrooms while parents receive important information about starting school. Each session covers different topics to support a smooth transition. Orientation will be completed by 10:30 am. 

Transition Dates: 

• Friday, October 24 
• Thursday, October 30 
• Friday, November 7

Meadowbank Minis Playgroup 2026

We are excited to offer a playgroup for children who are enrolled to start Kindergarten in 2026. This will begin on Friday 8 August, 1:30 -2:15 pm in the school library. If you would like your child to attend, please complete the playgroup registration form.

K-2 and 3-6 Athletics Carnival  

The K-2 and 3-6 Athletics Carnival is coming up on Wednesday, 6 August 2025. Activity permission is required - please use the Sentral Parent app.
