Friendship Fair Day 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
On Friday, the 4th of July will be holding our annual Friendship Fair.
The purpose of the fair is to build friendship, provide opportunities for our SRC reps to use their leadership skills, and to promote Social Justice.
All students can wear casual clothes for the day. We encourage sensible clothing choices for this time of the year.
Each class is responsible for running a stall or two. You will receive details of any items that are needed to help with these stalls from your classroom teachers. We thank you for your donations and for your support with this. Examples of the stalls range from photo booths, crazy hair, biscuit decorating, guess the number of lollies, target handball, disco dancing, beanbag throw etc.
We ask that, in addition to any classroom items, each child brings a small donation. This year, St Joseph’s will be matching the money that is raised. St Joseph's has been sponsoring Ellie over the last 12 years, after our Art teacher Mrs Marta Cummings went over to Tanzania and saw in action the amazing work of St Jude’s. Last year, Ellie graduated and has spent some time doing military service and has begun university, which she would be unable to do without our support. All money raised on Friendship Fair Day pays for her further education.
The day will run as follows:
9am: Assembly, STAR Awards and Birthdays
9.45--10.55am: The stalls open and the fair begins (all stalls are held at St Joseph's).
10.55-11.45am- Lunch
11.45am : Talent Show in the Performing Arts Centre at De La Salle (students only)
1.20pm: Home time and end of term!
Thank you for your support with our Friendship Fair. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
We look forward to a fun last day of Term 2!
Kind regards
Georgie Carman
