First Eucharist – A Special Milestone

Today, our Year 4 students participated in a very special Retreat Day as part of their preparation for receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist. It was a gentle and prayerful day, filled with reflection, learning, and quiet moments to deepen their connection with Jesus.

As part of the retreat, students took part in individual Reconciliation with Father Gallacher, offering them the opportunity to receive God’s forgiveness and begin anew with peaceful hearts. We also took time to practise how to reverently receive the Body of Christ using unblessed bread, helping the students feel confident and ready for this sacred step in their faith journey.

We are now filled with joy and anticipation as we prepare to celebrate First Eucharist this Saturday, 24th August at 6:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Parish.

All families and members of our school community are warmly invited to join us for this special Mass.  If you are unable to attend, we ask that you please keep our First Communicants in your prayers. May this beautiful milestone fill their hearts with lasting joy and bring them ever closer to God’s love.
