Principal's Message to the School Community

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are pleased to invite you to attend our upcoming Parent-Teacher Interviews, which will take place on Wednesday 30th July. These interviews are an important opportunity to engage in a meaningful discussion about your child’s progress as reflected in their Semester One School Report.

On this day, normal classes will not be held, as it will be a student-free day. However, students are encouraged to attend their scheduled appointments alongside you, as their presence helps support a shared understanding of their learning and development.

Each interview is scheduled for 15 minutes and will be held between 9:00am and 4:30pm in your child’s regular classroom. You will have the opportunity to meet with both classroom teachers and specialist staff to discuss your child’s academic achievements, personal growth, and areas where additional support may be beneficial.

These interviews are a valuable part of our school’s commitment to building strong partnerships between families and staff. Together, we can ensure each child is supported to reach their full potential.

Unfortunately, our records show that 45 Semester Two Reports in 2024 were not accessed by any parent or guardian. For some students, this lack of engagement has become a recurring pattern. We want to highlight how essential your involvement is—not only in accessing reports but also in actively participating in these face-to-face discussions. Your engagement sends a clear message to your child that their education matters.

To book your interview, please visit Compass and navigate to the Community tab, then select Conferences. We will send out a News Feed when bookings open. Semester One reports will be published on Compass at 3pm on Friday 4th July.

Should you have any questions or need help with booking, please feel free to contact our school office. We are more than happy to assist.

We look forward to welcoming you and working together to support your child’s continued success.

Warm regards,

Alistair Rayner

Principal
