YMAA JUNIOR ART COMPETITION 2025

The Yarrawonga Mulwala Artist Association (YMAA) is pleased to announce the 2025 Junior Art Competition to be held from 28 June to 12 July. The competition is free and open to all students from Yarrawonga College P-12, Yarrawonga Sacred Heart Primary School and College, and Mulwala Public School.

The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Express Yourself’. Your mind is important. Unleash your artistic creativity to express who you are, what you feel. The style of work may be a painting, drawing, print, textile, mixed media, collage or any other 2D medium.

The competition will have four categories: Prep to Grade 2, Grade 3 to Grade 6, Year 7 to Year 9 and Year 10 to Year 12. A ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Encouragement Award’ will be presented for each category. All entrants will receive a ‘Certificate of Participation’. The entries will be judged by local artists from YMAA with winners announced at the Grand Opening on Saturday 28 June, 3pm.
