Principal Update

A message from the Principal
Hoppy holidays Balmoral,
We have come to the end of a fantastic term even with the usual term 1 interruptions and disasters!
I am happy to report that we have a very stable timetable with very few staff changes which is excellent for students and their learning. We do say goodbye to Mr Michael Keleman-Lehman who has accepted a transfer to Woodridge SHS to commence Term 2 and thank him for his contributions to our school over the past three years. I am pleased to advise that I have been confirmed to remain as Principal for at least another term.
I promised that I would have the Parent Handbook out to you this week. Unfortunately, in the interest of trying to make the handbook as useful as possible for parents, it will be delayed until just after the holidays.
Next term will have some great opportunities for the whole Balmoral community to get together with our Parent teacher interviews and Open day. Ms Carusi-Lees is working on some additional support materials for parents to help with quality conversations about student engagement at the upcoming interviews.
Lastly from me is a reminder to make sure that your BYODx agreements are back if you haven’t yet , as network access may be cut if you are not on the list because your agreement has not been returned to the school. If this happens due to an error after the holidays, please contact and let us know so we can help.
Have a wonderful and safe Easter holiday break. School resumes for all students on Tuesday 22 April.
Andy Noble
Principal
