This week’s Farm Weekly – available to read in the library.

 

Two new books have arrived in the library available to loan in our Orca Soundings and Orca Anchor collection. We hope you enjoy reading them.

  • Orca Soundings are short, high-interest novels are written specifically for teens. These edgy stories with compelling characters and gripping storylines are ones they will want to read.  Reading levels from grade 2.0 to 4.5; Interest level ages 12+.

  • Orca Anchor books are short, high-interest novels with contemporary themes written specifically for teens reading below a grade 2.0 level.

  • These books are published in Orca's Ultra-Readable format with enhanced features like a dyslexia-friendly font, cream paper, larger trim size and increased spacing between lines of text to increase reading accessibility for dyslexic and other striving readers.

 

Summary: In this high-interest accessible novel for teen readers, Dex is dropped onto a deserted tropical island to compete in a high-stakes internet reality show. He takes it to the extreme to gain the most likes and social media followers needed to win.

 

 

 

 

Summary: Lucy "Lucky" Graves breaks her ankle in a rugby game and jeopardizes her future.
