Coming Soon - Enrolling Now! 

Dear Parents, carers and friends we need your help to spread the word!

 

Next week - Week 3 marks the beginning of our Enrolling Now Period for 2026.  We are in the process of updating our enrolment packs this week and they will be available for collection from next Monday.

 

If you know of anyone who has children who will be starting Kindergarten in 2026, please encourage them to attend our Open Mornings on Thursday May 29th and Tuesday June 3rd or to ring the office for more information. If these dates do not suit, we can arrange individual tours of the school as requested.

 

We will be inviting children and staff from the Quirindi Preschool and Kindergarten to come and spend some time in our school as well. We love having the preschoolers here and look forward to welcoming them.

 

Enrolment Applications will need to be returned to the Front Office by the end of Week 8 and Principal's interviews will be held in Week 9 and 10 this term as Armidale Catholic Schools require predicted numbers early in Term 3.

Mothers Day

  • 8th May - Mother's Day Stall 2-3pm  $12.  Please purchase through Compass.  There will be one gift per child but if there are spares we can sell those to the students who have opted for additional gifts via the Compass Question section.
  • 9th May - Mother's Day Liturgy 2.00pm in the library;  followed by a special activity in  the classrooms. ALL mums are encouraged to attend.
  • 11th May - Mother's Day

ANZAC DAY LETTER from Mr Ian Kennett

Hi All,

On behalf of the Quirindi RSL sub-Branch, I would like to thank the students, teachers and parents for their attendance at the ANZAC Day service.

Without the attendance of the schools the service would not be the same. We are glad that the education department are allowing your students to participate in the service and they are great ambassadors to the education system.

Medical Data

Please update your child's medical information/asthma plan/medication or anaphylaxis plan if required. I did contact families last term if asthma plans in particular are out of date. 

Travel Arrangements

If you are making any change to your child's travel arrangements, please email quiadmin@arm.catholic.edu.au before 2pm

Uniform

Students can wear either Full Summer Uniform or Full Winter Uniform at this stage. 

 

Please ensure all uniform items are clearly named to assist us in returning items to students.  Also please check the items that your child takes home as things are often misplaced at the bag hooks or bag racks and end up in going to a different home.

Please remember to explain all absences on Compass within 7 days of the absence.  Once the 7 days passes, you will not be able to make any changes and this will be reflected in the end of semester school report. 

 

If you child is absent, please jump on to Compass on the day.  There are 2 messages sent out; 1 on the day between 9:30 and 10am and then every Friday at 11am as a reminder for the week. 

SCHOOL FEES

Thank you to those that have finalised the third instalment, the full year's fees or are making regular payments.   You are able to view your current balance and transactions via the Compass app.  If you are experiencing any problems regarding this please phone the school and we can advise you of your balance. 

 

Please note there is an instalment schedule at the bottom of your first emailed 2025 school fee statement detailing monthly payments on the current years fees.  Please direct any email enquiries to quifinance@arm.catholic.edu.au.
