Student of the Week

P.E. - Jaya  4B 'Be a Learner' Jaya demonstrated exceptional persistence in P.E. while preparing for cross-country, consistently maintaining a positive attitude throughout the process.

Visual Arts - Youssef 3C ‘Be a Learner’ Youssef overcame frustration and showed resilience and determination with his art. He asked for feedback and produced an excellent artwork. Congratulations!

Performing Arts - Razan 6A for demonstrating enthusiasm, pride and bravery while improvising different characters and situations during our drama practice. He has worked hard on his focus and concentration to perform the elements of voice and movement to stay in character. Well done Razan!

Chinese - Nela 5B for demonstrating respectful behaviours and being an upstander. Nela is a good role model. He tries to lead his cohort to make good choices with polite language. I appreciate his kindness and intention to help. Well done!

 

L.L.I. (Year 2) - Tuma 2B ‘Be a Learner’ This certificate is in recognition of Tuma’s consistent efforts in L.L.I. She listens attentively, responds well to any feedback that she is given and always tries her best. Keep up the wonderful work, Tuma.  

 

6A - Hyab for showing maturity, friendship and exceptional communication skills when dealing with social issues outside of the classroom. Hyab, I love how you are able to show empathy for others, whilst also displaying integrity and honesty. You are amazing Hyab!

6B - Jeslyn for demonstrating exceptional independence in her learning, consistently articulating her understanding, clarity and depth, effectively explaining complex concepts and engaging in thoughtful discussions to deepen her comprehension. Keep it up!

6C - Boston for consistently demonstrating a respectful attitude and a positive approach to learning. He shows kindness to his classmates, listens attentively, and always brings an enthusiastic energy to the classroom. Keep up the great work Boston. 

 

5A - Yawer - 'Be Safe’ for being a role model and helping create a space where everyone can feel safe to succeed, ensuring that the classroom is neat, organised, and ready for all students to learn. Your efforts to keep the learning environment clean and tidy make a big difference, helping everyone focus and enjoy a safe positive classroom experience.

4A - Abigail - 'Be a Learner' Abigail is an amazing learner who applies enormous effort in all areas. She approaches challenges with a positive attitude, always striving to do her best. Her work in Maths and Writing this week has been excellent!!! Well done Abigail!

4B - Benjamin showed compassion, care and respect when he looked after a friend who was upset. This is an excellent example of inclusion and friendship. Well done Benjamin.

4C - Beverly - ‘Be Respectful & Be a Learner’ Beverly your peers have voted for you because you always show respect to your friends and teachers. This past week, you have also remained focused on all learning tasks and trying to participate more.

 

3A - Ethan G - ‘Be a Learner’ Ethan demonstrated pride in his learning when completing the math addition game this week. He displayed teamwork skills and an eagerness towards his learning. Well done Ethan, keep it up! 

3B - Sophie for demonstrating great pride in your maths work. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude in our math lessons have not gone unnoticed. You have completed fantastic work. Keep it up!

3C - Zoe - 'Be Respectful' Zoe is a helpful and courteous member of 3C and is always offering to assist her peers when they need it. Thank you for being a respectful member of our class, Zoe!

 

2A- Khang for demonstrating our expected behaviour of ‘Be a Learner’. Khang is a focused student, who consistently demonstrates a positive attitude towards his learning. Well done on settling into DPW, Khang. Great effort! 

2B - Emily - ‘Be a Learner’ Emily always demonstrates that she is ready for learning and attempts tasks with her best effort. She is more than willing to help her peers when they find something challenging. Keep it up Emily!

1B - Ameen for working hard to read and recognise all the Magic Words. Well done on achieving your learning goal, Ameen!

 

FA - Connor showed determination and focus during Literacy. He has worked hard to remember letter sounds and confidently used his knowledge to blend sounds to read CVC words. Fantastic work Connor!

FB - Jai - ‘Be a Learner’ Jai enthusiastically joins in and shares his ideas during class discussions. He is respectful of others and often helps during independent work. In addition,  Jai also works hard to complete all tasks to the highest standard. Well done, Jai!

FC - Loni demonstrated increasing resilience, especially in Writing, by asking for help when needed and showing perseverance. He also made a great effort to copy keywords from the board independently. Well done, Loni!
