Level 3

Welcome back to Term 2 at HEPS. We hope you enjoyed some quality time with your families and friends over the Easter period and indulged in a few Easter eggs too! Harper’s family was lucky enough to win 2nd prize in the Easter raffle! Congratulations!

MAD Day

On Friday 4th April, the whole school celebrated the end of Term 1 with Make A Difference Day. Many students (and teachers) dressed up in “crazy” costumes and outfits!

A parade saw each grade model their outfits as they walked around “high fiveing” their friends.

Congratulations must go to Miss Regan for the music, the entertainment and the organization of such a big, colourful event. Well done!

ANZAC Day

At our ANZAC DAY Assembly, we were lucky enough to have a parent from our school discuss the meaning and the importance of ANZAC Day. We laid a beautiful fresh wreath under the flag poles and then the Grade 3 students presented their ANZAC wreaths that we made the day before. All students showed great RESPECT as we listened to the Last Post and stood quietly as we completed a minute’s silence. It was a very moving ceremony.

Green Thumbs

Congratulations to Ella and Archie on receiving their Green Thumb badges at Assembly!

Farewell From Mrs Lumsden

I would just like to take this opportunity to say goodbye to all the wonderful children I have taught and the beautiful teachers I have worked with at HEPS throughout my career.
