Term 2

Remembering the ANZAC Tradition in Art

This week in Art, our Foundation, Grade 2, 3, and 4 students created thoughtful artworks inspired by the bright red poppies of Flanders Fields. These symbolic flowers helped us explore the meaning behind ANZAC Day and why we take time on 25 April to remember the brave men and women who served. Through art and discussion, students reflected on the importance of honouring our ANZACs in a way that was age-appropriate, meaningful, and creative.
