What we loved in Term 1....

Easter  

April has been all about Easter. The children have done a variety of Easter themed experiences from bunny paintings to Easter hats. The children had a very special visitor join us at Haven who left us A LOT of Easter eggs 🐰 

The children have shared a lot of smiles together this month as you can imagine 😊

Park Visits:

What a wonderful adventure the park is for all rooms! 

Incursions:

Well it’s been a busy start to the year, full of fun experiences for all children. The Rowville library came out and read some stories to the children which is always a huge hit! 

We had the butterfly incursion where the children had the opportunity to get up close to the beautiful butterflies. We went on a  Journey through Africa, learning all about culture, beats rhythm and different music. 

We have also had some emergency services visit us through this term including the Police and Heat Kids, teaching children all about what to do in an emergency. 

Have you seen out beautiful greenery and plants around the centre?

Keep an eye out for our vegetable garden.... 

Currently Sikha and the Forest Room have been growing some broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage seeds that will soon be ready to be plated and then harvested going into our winter menu :)
