Celebrating the GROWTH of our School during a fantastic first Term
As we approach the commencement of the Easter school holiday period, I have spent much time reflecting, with immense pride, upon all that has been done and collectively achieved by our students and staff across the life of our school throughout the course of Term 1.
We had a most exciting start to 2025, which commenced with a significant communal announcement at our Commencement Assembly regarding the construction of our new Multi-Purpose Stadium beginning on 14 February, in addition to celebrating the realisation of many of our 2024 and Beyond Strategic priorities.
Each strategic priority, as detailed in our 2024 & Beyond Celebrating Achievement publication, has amplified student choice whilst further enhancing our ability to deliver diverse quality learning experiences for K-12 students at Moama Anglican Grammar.
It has filled me with joy this term to see our students have the opportunity to; experience Rowing and Equestrian; to visit our second campus at Gunbower Estate for excursions that complement academic learning program delivery; to hear the buzz and excitement around the school as we introduced our Years 4 to 5 Sport Program; and to significantly expand student pathway choices within our Co-curricular and Extra-Curricular Sport and Music offering.
All of this while having an unwavering focus on academic growth and enhancing learning outcomes for every student within our network of care.
One of the unique points of difference of our school is the safe and caring environment that is created for our students by our talented, passionate, and dedicated staff, an environment guided by our core values of Compassion, Respect, and Integrity.
I take this opportunity to convey my enormous gratitude to all staff, and parent volunteers, for your ongoing commitment to support the provision of quality learning experiences for our students this term. It is a privilege to work with such caring and compassionate people who consistently go ‘above and beyond’ for our students and each other.
In closing, and on behalf of our staff, we wish all families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Easter school holiday period and very much look forward to connecting with you and your children next term.
Happy Easter and thank you for your support of our school.
Kind regards,
Mr Scott Downward
