SPC Mothers’ Day Mass 2025

All mothers/mother figures are invited to celebrate Mass with their son/s at our Annual SPC Mothers’ Day Mass, honouring the role of Mary in our Christian story and the significance of women in the creation and nourishment of life. We will proclaim the special relationship between mother and son, connecting it to our faith and reflecting on the history of women who have shaped us.

Time8:00 AM for an 8.30 AM start
Cost$20 per adult (there is no cost for students) to contribute to the cost of the venue and the transport for boys to return to school.
ParkingThere is onsite parking accessed via Gate 1 on Grand Avenue and Gate 4 on     James Ruse Drive Parking is then in P1, Members Reserve and P3. Please allow plenty of time for travel, parking and walking to the room, as traffic can be quite busy, and we need to start on time.
Morning TeaMothers/mother figures (and grandmothers of Year 12 only) are invited to morning tea following Mass in the Garden area next to the Grand Pavilion.
StudentsNo boy will be permitted to leave with their mother after the Mass. All will be bussed back to school for the remainder of the school day. Boys will need to bring their bags which will be placed in an area TBC (NOT left in the car).

As you can imagine, this event takes a lot of organising and thus your RSVP is necessary. 

Please note the following:

  • You must get a ticket for you AND for each of your sons, including those in the Band and Choir.

  • There is no cost for each boy's ticket however, it is $20 per mother/mother figure and grandmother to offset the cost of the hire of the venue.

  • You are only to organise your own family’s tickets (as numbers per booking are limited).

  • Siblings not from the College will not be able to attend (apart from babies who do not require a seat).

  • If you book tickets for more than yourself and your son/s, we will cancel your tickets.

  • Ticketing for Year 12 grandmothers ONLY is available. Due to size no other grandmothers or extended family are able to attend. Thank --you for your understanding. However, if tickets are available closer to the cut-off date we will open them up to other grandmothers.

  • The RSVP (ticketing) window will be Wednesday 26 March at 3:00 PM to Thursday 24 April at 12:00 PM.

  • Tickets can be booked using this link -   https://events.humanitix.com/spc-mothers-day-mass-2025.  

  • No refunds will be available after 24 April.

The RSVP (ticketing) will close at 12:00 PM on Thursday 24 April, as we need to inform the venue of numbers for the event and the morning tea. Please adhere to this deadline. 

 

If you would like to volunteer to read or do another role at the Mass, please email gillian.daley@spc.nsw.edu.au by Tuesday 29 April (the sooner the better!). Please don’t be shy! Thank you in advance.
