Halo Foundation Families,

Wow, what a huge start to Term 2!

We want to congratulate all the students on a wonderful performance of Seussical the Musical. We are so proud of each and everyone of the students and are so thrilled they were able to experience this so early into their schooling!

We also had Cross Country this week which was also fantastic! It was amazing seeing such great community spirit as the students all supported and cheered each other on.

This week, we kicked off our Guided Inquiry unit for the Term 'How Did That Get In My Lunchbox?' We drew foods we had in our lunchboxes, read stories about where different foods come from and how they make our bodies feel and did a food sort. The students worked collaboratively and used team throughout our guided lessons this week, which was incredible to watch!

For showing perseverance with your recount writing. You did your best to sound out new words even when you were not sure.

For demonstrating kindness and teamwork when working collaboratively with your peers. It was wonderful to see you using words of encouragement to support your group. 

FT - Arthur T

For drawing and labelling your incredible recount of the production this week. You added great detail into your pictures of the stage and explained your recount using the openers 'First' 'Next' and 'Then'.
