Lights camera action! Oh the places you'll go!

Well done to everyone on an amazing production. It was so wonderful to see all students so excited and participate so enthusiastically on stage. It was a joy to watch and we are so proud of each and every one of them! The sun also shone down on us for our Cross Country running event on Thursday. Students wore their house colours and again tried their very best to run the course through the school grounds. Lots of cheering and amazing sportsmanship was on display! In Writing, we have been focusing on writing imaginative recounts including connectives such as First, Next and Finally to start our paragraphs. During our Maths sessions we have been focusing on addition strategies to help us solve maths problems. Cards, dice and dominoes are great resources you can use at home to help your child learn addition in a fun way! So as we can see Term 2 has started with a bang and lots more exciting learning, school events and fun is on it's way!

Reminders

• Whilst Pokemon cards are a lot of fun, we are asking that these cards only be bought to school on a Friday when Pokémon club is on.
• We are asking for students to leave small toys at home as some of the toys that have recently been brought to school are going missing which of course brings great disappointment.
• 1st of May Hats Away. Students are of course still welcome to wear hats, however they are no longer compulsory for the cooler months. 
• Students are growing and at times very hungry! They are encouraged to bring some fruit/vegetables to have during a fruit break mid-morning.
