Selamat Siang,

The Year 3/4 students shone on stage during their performances of Seussical the Musical on Monday and Tuesday night. In the weeks leading up to the show, they put in a huge amount of effort to rehearse their songs, and their hard work was clear for all to see. The students performed four well-known and much-loved songs: “Here on Who,” “Oh, the Thinks You Can Think,” “Green Eggs and Ham,” and “The People vs Horton the Elephant.” Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and confidence lit up the stage, and we are incredibly proud of the joy and energy they brought to this wonderful production. Everyone in the Indpendence Centre wanted to give a huge shout out to Sarah and the supporting staff for all of their hard work behind the scenes—your guidance and dedication made it all possible!

We also held our Whole School Cross Country, and what a fantastic day it was! Students in 3/4 showed incredible perseverance and determination as they tackled the course, and it was wonderful to see such strong sportspersonship and support for one another along the way. Congratulations to the students who have progessed to District! And huge shout out to Eryn for coordinating the event so smoothly, and to all the staff and parents who helped out on the day!

Have a wonderful week,

Kathy, Ros, Julia, Mandy, Fatima and Suzie.
