Physical Education

We have had a busy few weeks in P.E.
We have now finished our athletics unit and have moved onto different units for P-6s.
Preps have been working on cooperative play, 1-2s have completed their run/dodge unit while the 3-6s have enthusiastically completed their fitness unit.
Last Thursday the 27th of March, grade 5 and 6 had their District Summer Sports Day!
It turned out to be a beautiful day in the sun that provided lots of fun.
Everyone gave their best effort when competing in the 4 different sports on offer.
Softball had a great turn out and Rolling Hills division 2 ended up in a play off match for 3rd and 4th. They managed to get the win and ended up coming 3rd.
Cricket came 4th in their division.
Volleyball got through to the semi finals.
While Tennis played in the first round of finals.
Well done all teams for your huge effort.
I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday and Easter!
Kind regards,
Miss Twentyman
