Hello, from Carolyn.
Respect, responsibility and kindness
Hello everyone,
Welcome back everyone! We have had such a lovely first week back with glorious weather, magnificent student behaviour and positive learning attitudes in our learning spaces.
A big thank you to Ms Hicks for organising our Athletics Day so everything ran smoothly. The day was wonderful and to all our parent helpers, thank you, the day wouldn't have run so well without your support! It's true what they say- Team work makes the dream work!
Year 6 to year 7 transition.
Our year 6 students have been given information about the transition process to their chosen secondary school. Please check your child's bag and make sure you read the information and complete the forms. Our local secondary schools have their information nights coming up on Monday May 4th. Find your zoned secondary school here and then make sure you get along to their information night.
ANZAC Day services.
Tomorrow our School and Vice Captains will be representing our school at the Eaglehawk and Bendigo ANZAC Day services. Thank you to Kim Kirkpatrick for accompanying our Vice Captains to the Eaglehawk service.
Grade 5/6JC will be conducting an ANZAC Day service at our assembly today.
I encourage you all to support your local service. You can find out where they are by visiting https://rslvic.com.au/events/category/anzac-day-2026/map/
Industrial action May 13- advance notice.
A half day stop work has been planned for Wednesday 13 May. This means it is likely we will have a large number of staff absent for the morning. I will be able to provide more information on Monday 11 May.
Enjoy your weekend.
warm regards,
Carolyn.
