Term 2 Class Newsletters
Linked below are the Term 2 unit newsletters for each year level. Please read over the newsletters for your grade/s and keep a copy somewhere accessible. This is a very useful tool to help families keep up with learning and events in Term 2.
St. Therese's Learning Walks - Monday May 4th
This term, we are excited to invite families to participate in Learning Walks across our school. These visits provide an opportunity to see learning and teaching in action, celebrate the extraordinary work of our teachers, and gain deeper insight into how students learn every day.
What to expect:
9:00am Welcome and overview in the staffroom with school leaders
9:15am Small groups led by school leaders visit classrooms
9:45am Return to staffroom for reflection and questions
10:00am Session concludes
Important Information:
- Maximum of 27 participants
- Bookings via Microsoft Form (HERE)
- To minimise disruption, we ask that younger children do not attend where possible
- No photography during classroom visits
Respect for student and staff confidentiality is expected
Learning Walks will be held on Monday (May 4th, 2026) and will be open to members of our school community. Depending on demand, additional sessions may be offered. We look forward to welcoming families into our classrooms to see learning and teaching in action.
Graduate Outcome Awards
At the very end of Term 1, students from each class in F-6 were presented with INTEGRITY Graduate Outcome Awards.
Students who graduate from St Therese’s Primary School are people of INTEGRITY, who show a strong sense of justice.
Our next award will be on the Graduate Outcome of WISDOM.
Our next assembly, and our first one for Term 2, will be on Wednesday, April 29th at 2:30pm in the St Therese's Church. Awards for WISDOM will be presented at this assembly.
Reading More In May
Thank you to Mrs Crosby and Mrs Pieper for organising our Read more in May activities.
SSV Region Swimming Championships
A big congratulations to Sam H and Eden H who recently competed in Swan Hill for the SSV Region Swimming Championships. Eden had a great day out, earning 2nd & 4th places in her events. A fantastic effort against some tough competition.
Sam had an outstanding day in the pool, placing 1st in both of his events, with a PB in one event, to secure his place at the State Championships next month at MSAC. We wish you all the best going forward Sam!
Save The Date - St. Therese's Athletics Carnival
SSV Division Cross Country - CHANGE OF DATE
We were informed last week of a change in date for the SSV Division Cross Country to Friday 22nd May.
Cricket Victoria - State Champions Plaque
We had a visit from Jake at Cricket Victoria last week. He popped in to deliver a very special plaque to the coaches and team players of our 2025 Cricket Blast State Champions. This plaque has taken pride of place alongside our trophy and banner in the foyer.
Thanks to Jake and Cricket Victoria for the lovely recognition and memento of the day.
We look forward to defending this title later in the year!
