Attendance:

This year, we have had a big focus on attendance, with a goal for every student to have an attendance rate of 95% or higher. Did you know that if your child misses 8 days of school in a term, you’ve already missed about one and a half weeks of learning? That’s a lot of important time in the classroom!

Over the duration of Term 1, we had 75 students across our school attend every day, which is an amazing achievement and definitely something to celebrate! For the remainder of the year, we are introducing this term our attendance trophy. Each fortnight at our assembly, the class with the highest number of students with 95% or higher attendance will get to showcase the trophy in their class for the following two weeks.

At the end of the term, the overall class with the highest attendance will get to enjoy lunch in the staff room! Let's all aim to be at school every day, on time, and ready to learn.

Routine Focus: Cue to Start

This week, our routine focus is on Cue to Start. Aligned with the Classroom Mastery approach, this routine supports students to be actively listening, focused, and ready for teacher instruction. Across all areas of the school, this consistent routine helps students remain present, understand expectations, and engage in opportunities to share their learning.
