New Molong - North Orange Bus Service
New Bus Service Expands Access to Kinross Wolaroi School
Kinross Wolaroi School is pleased to announce the introduction of a new dedicated school bus service between Molong and Orange. The service commenced this term.
Developed in response to feedback from families and the wider community, the new morning and afternoon service will provide a convenient and reliable transport option for students travelling from Molong, North Orange and surrounding areas.
The new route is designed to support both current and prospective families by making access to a Kinross Wolaroi School education easier and more convenient. In addition to serving Molong, the service will include designated pick-up and drop-off points throughout the district and in North Orange, helping connect students from one of the region’s fastest-growing residential areas with the School.
Supporting our families
At Kinross Wolaroi School, we recognise that access to reliable transport plays an important role in school choice. For some families in Molong and the surrounding districts, travel arrangements have presented challenges or acted as a barrier to considering the School.
By introducing this dedicated School-operated service, we aim to strengthen connections with communities to the north-west of Orange while making it easier for students to access the opportunities, learning experiences and sense of belonging that define the Kinross Wolaroi experience.

Sony Foundation Children's Holiday Camp 2026
In December 2026, Kinross Wolaroi School will proudly host its second Sony Foundation Children’s Holiday Camp, joining a powerful national initiative that has been transforming lives since 1999. From Sunday, 6 December to Tuesday, 8 December 2026, selected children with additional needs will be welcomed into our school community for a three-day, two-night camp filled with fun, friendship and unforgettable experiences.
What is the Sony Foundation Camp?
The Sony Foundation Camp is a unique program that gives our senior students the opportunity to become full-time companions and carers for children with disabilities. Under the guidance of experienced staff and supported by qualified nursing and medical professionals, students take on the responsibility of caring for their camper 24 hours a day — offering a much-needed break for families and creating bonds that leave a lasting impact on everyone involved.
For the children attending, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy a short holiday away from home in a safe, nurturing environment, with personalised attention and a fun, flexible program tailored to their interests and needs. For our senior students, it’s a powerful, hands-on experience in empathy, leadership and service — and often described as one of the most rewarding moments of their school journey.
Location & Accommodation
Campers will stay in Kinross Wolaroi School’s comfortable boarding accommodation in Orange, with full access to school facilities, resources and outdoor spaces. Activities will be adapted to meet the needs and preferences of the children, with an emphasis on inclusion, joy and connection.
