Stage 2 Shine at the Verse Speaking Eisteddfod

On Wednesday, 5 August, our Stage 2 classes participated in the Verse Speaking Eisteddfod held at the Function Centre. Students delivered impressive performances of Fire by Jackie French and I Didn’t Do My Homework by Libby Hathorn.

Their hard work and dedication were rewarded with First Place, achieving an outstanding score of 90. The adjudicator commended the students for their excellent use of dynamics and pitch, expressive facial and body gestures, and strong unison speaking.

Congratulations to all students on this wonderful achievement. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they represented our school. We also extend our sincere thanks to Mrs Maslin and Miss Maloney for their preparation and guidance of the students. 

Mrs Moxey’s Studio Concert

Mrs Moxey held her Studio Concert in the Performance Theatre on Monday, 3 August. All of her students performed exceptionally well on either the violin or viola. Mrs Moxey was very proud of their preparation and confidence throughout their performances. Best of luck to all students sitting their AMEB examinations in the coming weeks.
