Pre-Kinder Celebrates Christmas in July

Our Pre-Kinder children had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas in July! Throughout the day, our learning program was filled with festive Christmas themed art and craft, stories, music and games. Everyone looked fantastic in their Christmas outfits, adding to the festive spirit, and the children were thrilled to receive a surprise visit from………..Santa!

Kinder Art Goes to the Dogs! 

Last term, Kindergarten enjoyed completing a mixed-media artwork of a dog. 

First, students drew an outline of their favourite type of dog. Next, they tore pieces of newspaper and glued these in a collage manner to form their dog’s head. After that, students gave their dog a face by drawing features like its eyes and snout. Some students chose to include spots and droopy ears using black paper. Finally, Kindergarten selected a special name for their dog which has been recorded on their artwork.

As always, Kindergarten had lots of fun in the art room exploring and being creative!

A Great Sport

Congratulations to Nick Church, who received the medal for KWS U9 Lightning on Saturday for his excellent sportsmanship, teamwork and strong defence.
