OWEN HOWELL (Finance Officer - Accounts)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
Finance Officer, I'm looking forward to adding value to the school, community and learning about the complete School and education ecosystem.
What did you do previously?
I worked for an Accounting Firm, serving customers from all different types of industries including transport, logistics, pizza shops, consulting firms and even dangerous goods and hazardous materials.
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoying playing basketball with my 2 boys and we love going to car shows or racing - we are obsessed with cars.
JESS FOOTIT (Primary Learning Assistant)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
My new role is being the LA for the amazing kids in 3A. The thing that I am most excited about is getting to know and building a strong relationship with all the kids I come into contact with. I am excited to encourage the kids in my class and see them reach their fullest potential in all ways. Academically, socially and spiritually.
What did you do previously?
Previously I have worked in schools as an emergency relief LA, but my first formal job working with children was working as a kids birthday party host. That is were I found my love for working with kids.
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun I like to hang out with my best friends, play games, learn about God and teach dance. I have been a dance teacher for over 3.5 years and I have no plans of stopping any time soon.
JOSIAH PERCY (Primary Learning Assistant)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
My new role at BHCS is a Learning Assistant in Year 3. I'm most excited to see kids and young people grow into who God has called them to be. I'm burdened to make sure every young person has the opportunity to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
What did you do previously?
I previously worked a retail job at Rebel Eastland and Knox for 4 years.
What do you like to do for fun?
In my spare time, I serve as a youth leader at Light Chapel Youth. I love to play golf with mates, and I enjoy eating lots of food with friends and family.
