What's happening in Science and Technology?
“Ahoy Scientists!
Another busy week in the STEM room, or should I say, in our CJC gardens! Each year level has been getting back into the garden this week and planting in preparation for the warmer weather to come. It is the Guling Orchid Season after all, according to our Kulin Seasons (which in Melbourne are more predictable). The 1/2s have planted snap peas and Californian poppies. The Preps have planted flower letters. Although, due to inclement weather some of our preps have been designing balloon-powered cars. The 5/6s have planned their edible gardens and were very excited to get into their new garden beds for the first time. They are very hopeful for a bountiful strawberry crop! Finally, a few of our 3/4s managed to plant their garden beds before heading off to an adventurous camp.
Overall, many green thumbs in CJC, and not all caused by leaking textas!
Have a great weekend,
-Mr Lewis”
