Sun Smart Policy
It is that time of year again. As we welcome Spring, we also welcome our school hats back. As of September 1, all Victorian Schools must comply with the Department of Education Sun Smart Policy. There will be a grace period of one week that we will use to remind students that a hat is now a requirement of our daily school uniform.
From Friday, September 8, we will be taking a 'no hat, no play' approach during play times. This will mean that students without hats will be on a restricted play space.
We have a range of beautiful school hats for sale at the Administration Office, complete with school logo. If you wish to purchase a school hat, with our school logo, you can purchase one from the Administration Office and our friendly team will place your child's name on their hat on purchase.
Student-led Conferences
On Wednesday September 13, we will be holding Student-led Conferences at school. These very important meetings provide a valuable opportunity for your child to speak about their learning achievements and goals for next term. It also provides a chance for families and teachers to engage in a purposeful conversation about what learning has been achieved by your child, what learning goals are next and how the school and home can form a productive and positive partnership to support next steps. Happy Father's Day
We wish all of the men in our families a special day on Sunday. We thank all of these important members of our families for their support, love and care.
