Year 2 Incursion
Ambulance Victoria
On the 4th August, the Year 2 students attended an incursion held by Ambulance Victoria as part our Inquiry investigation about “What it means to belong” within a community and the community workers that contribute to a safe community. A paramedic from Ambulance Victoria visited the students to discuss their role and importance in the community. Students were engaged with a presentation about the daily activities of a paramedic and the importance of knowing an emergency number. Furthermore, students were able to take a visit inside an ambulance van and observe the equipment used during emergency. The students had a wonderful time and reflected on their future careers of possibly being a paramedic.
