GENERAL NEWS
OPEN CLASSROOMS
This term we look forward to warmly welcoming our parents to our open classrooms on Friday 8th September. Parents are invited to come along and have a look at the learning taking place in all our learning spaces from Kinder to Year 6. The learning spaces will be open from 8:15 - 8:45am.
UNIFORM
Due to the current warm weather, students are allowed to come to school in either their full summer uniform or their full winter uniform on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the remainder of the term. Thank you for your support in ensuring that our students are wearing their uniforms correctly.
RUBIK'S SHOWCASE
We continue to be amazed at the incredible skill, memory training, persistence and patience that so many of our students have shown in learning to solve the Rubik's cube. As a result, we have held a Rubik's Showcase once a term at assembly for these students to have their moment in the spotlight sharing their talent. Georgie O'Halloran (Yr 6) has even gone one step further and recently amazed the crowd by solving the cube blindfolded!!!!! Tomorrow during our Father's Day breakfast we thought we'd hold another Rubik's Showcase for any willing students, dads and visitors. If you are up for the challenge, be ready with your cube to "get solving" at around 8:30am.
SCHOOL FEES
A gentle reminder that school fees must be paid in full by Monday, 4 December 2023. School Fee Statements are emailed to parents on a regular basis. If you are not receiving these statements, please contact our office staff. Thank you for your support.
FEAST DAY MUFTI DAYS
This term we will be celebrating the following feast days with a mufti day for the children in that house.

VERITAS
Our Veritas Awards stem from our school motto - ‘Veritas’ - meaning truth. The Veritas Award is awarded to students who have been consistently displaying citizenship, leadership and/or Christian Living. Students receiving a Veritas Award are those students who have displayed our ‘Rules for Living’ in their everyday interactions. This term our focus is on ‘Valuing, respecting and caring for others’.

COVID INFORMATION
At the end of 2022, National Cabinet announced that people who test positive to COVID-19 do not need to isolate. In line with this announcement, schools will continue to follow guidance issued by NSW Health to support the safety and wellbeing of our school communities.
Staff and Students with COVID-19 Symptoms
If a student or staff member is unwell and has any symptoms they should always test for COVID-19 and not attend school until they are symptom free.
Positive COVID-19 Cases
If a student or staff member receives a positive result with a RAT or PCR test they should:
- Record the positive result through the Services NSW website or App.
- Notify school of positive results as soon as possible.
