Scholarships for 2024
Please take a look at the various scholarship opportunities for 2024:
MTS Superbots Industry Immersion Program
A group of 32 girls from Brentwood attended the Monash Tech School’s Superbots Industry Immersion Day on 16th and 17th of August. The program was quite engaging as we got to peek into the future of AI (Artificial Intelligence.)
During this excursion, we had the opportunity to make our very own voicebots using Fabella and made our Voice-bot act like the user’s friend. We programmed the voicebot to tell jokes, play songs and recommend tv shows and many more!
This was a very exciting experience for us, as we got to bond with other students and have this as an option for our future career!
Anvi and Ridhaa, 7Y3
Attending and participating in Monash was a pleasant experience, we were able to use our creativity and experiment with creating a voice bot. The process of creating it was an experience we treasure as a group. This programme was not only about artificial intelligence and Science, but also about stereotypes towards women and how a certain type of person plays a role in another’s life. The school offered a wide range of opportunities and various activities that everyone, passionate or not, could participate in and enjoy. Brentwood is fortunate that we students have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in. Through this program we built our knowledge, school values, and see different perspectives that we have not yet recognised.
