Literacy

We have been brainstorming lots of possible problems and solutions to support our narrative writing. Using these ideas, we have begun to plot our own storylines that we will utilise in the coming weeks to draft our own stories. 

Numeracy

Following on from our learning of mutliplicaton, we are now exploring division and its link, still making use of the strategies of groups and arrays. However, now we are developing our awareness that with division, we start with the total amount and divide/share it equally between groups. 

History

In our Rotations History unit, we are inquiring into our family histories. We have been exploring what makes a family and how family members connect through the creation of our own family tree. We have quickly discovered just how big some family trees can grow and that no two families are the same.
