Welcome back to Term 4! 

What a busy Term we have planned!

Mission Week Activities

Thank you to everyone who has already brought in their $5 donation to support Catholic Mission and the people of Zambia. 

We had a fabulous Week One of Mission Week with our Crazy Sock Day, our Deny and Donate and Sausage Sizzle Day and our Colour Explosion Day! It is so lovely to see everyone getting into the spirit of our Mission Week activities. 

Thank you to all of those people who donated their morning tea (and more) last Thursday! We had an astronomical amount of packaged food donated which we have given to the Vinnies Van and the Missionaries of Charity. This food will help people in Orange who have less than us.

A huge thank you to Mrs Covelli and Mr Gorham for helping organise, set up, cook, serve, and clean up our sausage sizzle. Cooking and feeding 500 people is a huge feat and one that I would not have been able to do if it weren't for this help.  A big thank you to the teachers who assisted aswell. I think everyone enjoyed their free sausage!

Everyone looked amazing on our Colour Explosion Day last Friday. Please enjoy these photos of our Week One Mission Week activities. 

To conclude our Mission Week activities the children will participate in a Misson Fun Day. Activities such as Chalk Drawing, Quoits, Beanbag tosses, Coin tosses, coloured hairspray and art activities have been planned by all the classes to ensure that our morning of activities is filled with fun and excitement. During this day the children will participate in a grade Liturgy. Throughout Mission Week in classrooms, the children have been learning all about Zambia and where the money we have donated in Mission Week 2025 will be going. What a great community we belong to!
