Colac Division Basketball
Well done to our students who competed in the Colac Division Basketball Championships yesterday at Bluewater Leisure Centre. A big thank you to the students who helped St Brendan’s to fill a team. What great sportsmanship! Our Sacred Heart girl’s team were runners up on the day (only losing by a point) and the Sacred Heart boy’s team were the winners and will now play in the Greater Western Basketball Championships this Friday, 24th October at Selkirk Stadium in Wendouree.
The boys will travel by bus to this event. The bus will leave Sacred Heart at 7:50am and return at approximately 3:45pm.
We do need parents/grandparents (please make sure the office has a copy of your Working With Children’s Check) to assist with scoring on the day, so please indicate on PAM if you can help. There will be seats available on the bus for the adults. Cost for students on the bus is $10.00 (please pay at the office before the event). The cost for adults on the bus is $20.00.
(Permissions will be forwarded through PAM at a later date)
