Mission Day at Sacred Heart
As Mission Month continues, our students have been exploring how small acts of kindness and generosity can make a big difference in the lives of others.
We’ll conclude our Mission month with our All Saints and All Souls Mass at 9.00am on Friday 31st October, led by Father Andrew in our Multi-Purpose Room — everyone is welcome to join us. After recess, our Mission Day Fete will begin at 11:30am, with all funds raised supporting the important work of the Catholic Mission.
Each year level will be running a special stall or activity: Please direct any questions to the classroom teacher.

🌍 Mission Month – October
October is Mission Month, a time when Catholic schools across Australia focus on prayer, awareness and action for those most in need around the world. Throughout the month, our students will explore how small acts of kindness and generosity can make a big difference.
This month also includes several important days that connect beautifully to our theme of caring for others and for our common home:
October 16th – World Food Day: a reminder of the importance of food security and our call to share what we have.
October 20th to 26th – National Water Week: an opportunity to reflect on the gift of clean water and how we can protect it for all.
We’ll finish our Mission Month celebrations with our Mission Day Fete on Friday 31st October, raising funds to support those in need through Catholic Mission.
