Kinross Wolaroi Learn to Swim Program Update – Term 2
Our Year 1 swimming intensives are now in full swing, and the pool has been buzzing with excitement each Wednesday afternoon. It has been fantastic to watch students grow in confidence as they practise floating, kicking, and stroke skills with their classmates. For some, this is their first structured swimming experience, and they have embraced it with enthusiasm, resilience, and plenty of smiles. The progress already shown in just a short time is impressive and we look forward to seeing their skills continue to develop over the term.
After school lessons have also commenced for Term 2 following our pool closure over the school holidays. The water is warm, the energy is high, and we still have some spaces available for families wishing to join. If you’re interested, please contact us at swimming@kws.nsw.edu.au.
Looking forward, our School Holiday Intensives will run from 13 to 17 July. Families currently enrolled in our program will receive further information via email toward the mid to end of term. If you are not currently part of our program but would like to join our intensives, we welcome you to reach out.
A reminder that the last day of swimming lessons for Term 2 is Saturday, 4 July, as regular lessons will continue during the first week of the Kinross Wolaroi school holidays.
Finally, please note that no swimming lessons will run over the June long weekend (Saturday and Monday classes) to allow our team a well‑deserved break.

Applications now open for Sony Camp 2026
