Parents & Friends Association

To the Parents and Friends of Kinross Wolaroi School,
It is a privilege to take on the role of P&F President this year, and I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our school community. As a parent of three boys across both the Junior and Senior School, I feel well placed to understand and support the connection between the different stages of school life.
I am fortunate to already be working closely with our new Principal, Mr Kelly, a dedicated P&F Executive, and an incredible group of Year Representatives who already do so much to build connection across our parent community.
Our major event for 2026, the Country Fair, was a fantastic success and a great example of what can be achieved when our community comes together, perhaps even more so when faced with the weather challenges! A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy and support.
Looking ahead, our inaugural Dads’ Golf Weekend in Mudgee is just around the corner, and a big thank you to Peter Solomon, Steve Hinks and Jimmy Cardiff for their organisation of this event.
As a P&F, we are currently reviewing our strategy moving forward, with a focus on strengthening parent communication channels, supporting our Year Representative network, improving how we welcome and connect with new families, and strengthening the connection between our boarder and day families. We are also working to deliver a purposeful calendar of social and informative events. We look forward to sharing more with you soon.
At the heart of it, the P&F is here to facilitate opportunities for parents to get to know each other, enjoy being social, and build friendships and a support network to make our Kinross Wolaroi experience really special.
