Friday Week 10 – 26 June
On the final day of Term 2, the school will hold an Enhancement Day focused on strengthening teaching, learning and student outcomes across the senior years. As part of this day, teachers will participate in dedicated professional collaboration and curriculum planning. Feedback from our recent School Review highlighted the importance of providing structured time for staff to work together to strengthen Senior Curriculum delivery, assessment practices and learning pathways for students.
During the day, staff will work collaboratively to refine assessment and moderation practices across senior subjects, strengthen consistency in teaching and learning expectations, review curriculum sequencing and learning pathways and share expertise and improve the coherence of senior programs This work is designed to support improved outcomes for students by ensuring high-quality, consistent learning experiences and strong preparation for future pathways beyond school.
Student Arrangements on the day

By using this day strategically, the school is making the best use of existing time and resources to strengthen curriculum delivery and continue improving outcomes for all students.
Our school has an established uniform policy which outlines the expectations for all students enrolled at the school. The uniform policy can be found on our school website (search uniform policy for the latest version).
Reminders:
Students who wear the incorrect jewellery may be required to place their jewellery in an envelope for collection from the down-stairs reception at the end of the school week (Fridays from 2:30 to 3:00pm). They will also need to present their student ID to collect their jewellery. Parents and Carers can collect jewellery at any time from the day after the confiscation has occurred. Further consequences may occur for students with continued non-compliance.
Thank-you for your support with ensuring your student/s are prepared for school each day.
From the beginning of Term 3, the boom gate on Col Miller Drive will again be operational. To support student access, the gate will be open each school day from 7:00am to 7:30am for the drop-off of students carrying musical instruments and students attending volleyball training. The gate will then be closed from 7:30am until 3:45pm each day. In addition, the gate will be closed overnight from 11:30pm on Sunday to Thursday evenings and will reopen at 7:00am the following morning.
As a result, parent and carers will need to consider alternative drop-off and pick-up locations for students during these times. Our designated drop-off zone is on Waterworks Road.
This change is being implemented to support the safety and wellbeing of students, staff and all members of the school community. We appreciate the cooperation and understanding of our school community as we continue to prioritise a safe school environment.
