Principal's Address

Hello Everyone,

Athletics

Congratulations to all the students on a great effort at the Emus V Kookies as well as the Small Schools Athletics carnivals.  We wish those students heading off to the Tara and District carnival next week the best of luck. This carnival is being held in Tara at the Tara Shire State College oval.

Cobb & Co Excursion

Please ensure that you have returned your child’s permission form to attend the excursion to Toowoomba next Monday.  Students are to be in full school uniform with their hat, water bottle and lunch.  Bus drivers will be arranging pick up and drop off times.  Those who travel to school by car need to be ready to leave at 7am sharp. 

Eisteddfod Practice Concert

This will be held at the Moonie Sports Club on Wednesday the 31st July at 2:30pm. This allows the children to have a practice in front of a live audience prior to the main event in Goondiwindi.  All community members are welcome to attend.

Public Holiday

There is a scheduled public holiday on Monday the 12th of August for the Tara Shire Show Holiday.  No school on this day.

Eisteddfod Practice Concert

Moonie School will be holding an Eisteddfod Practice Concert

at the Moonie Sports Club

on Wednesday 31st at 2:30pm

All Community members are welcome to attend and support our wonderful  performers.
