Math

Students have been learning about place value. They have engaged in a range of activities to recognise and record numbers in the tens and hundreds, such as renaming numbers using MABs, making their names and pictures using MABs, then adding up the value. 

Writing and Reading

We have been reading books about Olympics and writing fun facts that we have learnt from the books about Olympics. We learnt that the Olympics started around 3000 years ago, in a city called Olympia in Greece. Only men could compete in the games back then, and women began to participate in the games from 1900. Students are now very knowledgeable and excited about the Olympics!
