ENPS House Team Project Featured in AEU Magazine

Back in September 2024, our school community came together for a very special occasion. Families, VIPs, School Councillors, local community partners, and advocates joined us for an assembly and smoking ceremony, led by the Wurundjeri Council and Elder Perry Wandin, to mark the official launch of our ENPS House Team and PE uniforms.

It was an event filled with pride and connection. Our School/House Team Captains and Marrung Team reflected on the remarkable journey behind our House Team Shirts project, and our wonderful partnership with Narungga/Kaurna and Trawoolwaway artist Daen Sansbury-Smith. The project strengthened our community’s learning and understanding of First Nations perspectives, the traditional custodians of the land, the Wurundjeri people, and connection to the four elements of Country; Wiin (fire), Gurrin (wind), Baan (water), Biik (earth).

In further news, we are very proud to share that our House Team Shirts project has now been featured in the Australian Education Union magazine. Please click here to read the full AEU article, which recognises the project's impact on our entire school community and highlights our dedication to fostering respect, inclusion, and cultural awareness. Everyone belongs at ENPS.
