Reminders

School Closure Days
- Friday 21st November
Punctuality
It is expected that all students are to be at school by no later than 8.45am and not any time up to 9am. From 8.30am to 8.45am is crucial for students to get themselves organised, start the day with prayer, take the roll and ready to commence their day promptly. Formal lessons begin at 9am. Any child who arrives at or after 8.45am is to be signed in at the office by a parent/guardian. I ask all parents to make sure that you adhere to these times.
At no time should parents be driving into the school grounds to drop their children off. The safety of all children and families must be our priority and we ALL need to do the right thing.
Riding and Scooting to School
It is wonderful to see some of our students getting daily exercise by riding or scooting to school. This is often an activity where students meet up with each other on their way to school and travel together, creating a safe and social experience for all.
Upon arrival at school, all riders need to dismount from their bike or scooter and walk into the school grounds. This should happen as you are entering the gates from the footpath.
At dismissal time, all riders must collect their bike or scooter and walk it through the school grounds and out on the footpath. Students should only mount their bikes or scooters away from groups moving during dismissal time.
There should be no riding of bikes or scooters within school grounds at the beginning or end of the school day. This includes parents who ride to school.
If you have a child who rides to school, please have a conversation to ensure these rules are understood and followed. Thank you.
Summer Uniform
All students should now be wearing their summer school uniform, including their school hat.
We expect all children to have and wear their school hat. Wearing the school hat is not only compulsory during recess and lunchtime, but also before/after school and during Physical Education lessons, sport and other outdoor training sessions.
As a SunSmart registered school all children will have access to Sunscreen.
Reminder to place your book lists
Are you returning in 2026?
School organisational planning for 2026 is well underway. We are assuming all students enrolled in Prep to Year 5 will return in the 2026 school year. If not, I ask that you contact the school office immediately and notify your intentions
office@saclaytonsth.catholic.edu.au
This information assists the school leadership immensely with the planning and resourcing for the 2026 school year.
Zooper Dooper Friday
With Term 4 warming up we welcome back our Friday Zooper Dooper sales!
Children are invited to bring $1.00 to school to purchase a Zooper Dooper at recess on a Friday.
We thank our Year 6 children for volunteering their time to support the sales of the Zooper Doopers.
School Absentee notification
If your child will not be attending school you must notify the office by 9.30am on the day they will be away. The preferred method is to use the Audiri App and the eform Absentee Form.
The other method is to ring the school office on 9551 5094 and choose option 1 to leave a message or send an email to office@saclaytonsth.catholic.edu.au
An SMS will be sent to parents that have not advised the school. This is a legal requirement.

Classroom Cuisine
The new Term 4 menu is attached below. They have added a Mexican Inspired Salad with Corn Chips and Tortellini Pasta Salad to their main course selection - perfect for the warmer months. Also, the Simple Salad Roll is back due to popular demand! The subsequent courses now include a Raspberry Jelly Cup and a Bag of Grapes, to take advantage of the seasonal produce.
Lost School Jumpers
Lost property is growing by the day with jackets and non school items.
Unfortunately, there are a large number of clothing items that do not have any names on them!
Please clearly mark ALL your children's clothing and property with both first and last name and CURRENT class – this will greatly assist in the item finding its way back to the correct classroom.
