Library News

The Library will be holding a small book stall during the Christmas Market on 5th December. There will be second-hand books for sale as we clear out some of our older and duplicate titles, helping us raise funds to purchase new books for the library. We would love to see you there and hope you find some great bargains!

We would also like to share this lovely feedback we received from Scholastic—a big thank you to everyone who has purchased from the Scholastic Book Club this year! (Issue 8 orders will close on 17th November.)

Dear Kerri/St Louis De Montfort's PS Team,

As Term 4 draws to a close, I’d like to take a moment to extend my heartfelt congratulations to everyone at St Louis Primary School for your incredible Book Club success across 2024 and 2025. You and your community have got over $8,200 worth of books in your students hands! It’s truly inspiring to see how your school community has embraced reading — and we can’t wait to see what’s next!

This achievement is about so much more than numbers. It reflects a thriving culture of literacy that’s clearly alive both in your classrooms and beyond. Success like this doesn’t happen by chance — it comes from strong leadership, consistent effort, and a shared belief in the power of reading to transform lives. Your team’s commitment to nurturing confident, curious readers shines through in every Book Club milestone.

We feel incredibly privileged to support a school community so deeply passionate about literacy. Thank you for making reading such a joyful and inclusive part of school life.

Next week will be the final session for all classes in the library, so we kindly ask that all library books be returned.

Thank you.
