Principal Post

Dear Families,
We hope everyone had a lovely weekend and if you had a flutter on the Melbourne Cupyou had a win.
Remember that House Sports is on Friday so please ensure you pack your child a big lunch and a lots of water to drink. Hats are a must and please apply sunscreen at home before they arrive.
Day for Daniel
Thanks to all the families that donated on the day. We raised around $360 for this important education program- keeping children safe.
Throughout the day, our SRC students led special lessons in each year level focused on child safety.
School House Sports -This Friday 7th November
Tomorrow we will look again at the weather for Friday if there is a lot of rain forecast we will postpone the event. We will inform families after 12pm tomorrow. We have Marquees and a Grandstand but we ask that parents have their phones on in case of sudden weather changes.
Venue: Ross Reserve Athletics Track Noble Park
We ask that you take your child to the venue (not school) between 8:40 - 9am and if not staying, arrive for pick up by 2:45pm. Your child needs to be taken into the supervision of the class teacher. We anticipate that the day will conclude by 3pm.

Professional Learning with our Speech Pathologist
Last week, our Speech Pathologist, Bella, worked with staff to reflect on our classroom environments and explore ways to ensure every student is set up for success. Together, we considered factors such as visual stimulation, opportunities for movement and regulation breaks, classroom organisation, scents, and the language we use every day.
It was a highly beneficial and thought-provoking session — thank you, Bella, for helping us continue to create calm, supportive, and inclusive learning spaces for all our students!
